Stuffed French Toast
Stuffed French Toast (Serves 4)
- 8 slices of Schmidt Blue Ribbon White Bread or Old Tyme Split Top Wheat Bread
- 1/8 cup Strawberry Jam
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 1/3 cup Milk 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Mix
Mix together cream cheese and strawberry jam. Spread 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture in between two slices of bread.
In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk, cinnamon & vanilla. Taking the cream cheese “sandwich”, carefully place into the egg mixture. After a few seconds flip it over.
Place French toast into a greased frying pan. Cook 3-5 minutes on each side, until each side is golden brown.
Serve with cut up strawberries (if desired) & syrup!
